On July 21, 2020, the BACS decree – Building automation & control systems – was published in the official journal, which provides for equipping tertiary buildings with automation and control systems by January 1, 2025. The implementation of this new obligation is one of the means that will enable tertiary buildings to achieve the energy efficiency objectives recently set by the tertiary decree. Note that this decree concerns, from July 21, 2021, new buildings whose building permit will be filed one year after the publication of the decree.
