The standard NF EN ISO 52120-1: 2022 (which replaced the NF EN 15232-1: 2017 standard) provides the automation, regulation and technical management functions, which have an impact on the energy performance of buildings.
The new standard NF EN ISO 52120-1 : 2022 NF EN ISO 52120-1: 2022 defines 4 performance classes depending on the functions of the BMS :
- Class A: highly energy-efficient regulation and BMS
- Class B: advanced regulation and BMS
- Class C: standard regulation and BMS, taken as reference
- Class D: regulation and BMS not energy efficient
